Why we exist

International buyers rarely struggle to find a Pakistani supplier. What is genuinely hard is finding out whether that supplier is what it says it is — whether the certification is current, whether the facility is registered for their market, whether the quoted capacity is real, and whether the shipment documents will hold up at their own customs desk.

Meanwhile, capable Pakistani producers sit on spare capacity because export selling is a different discipline from manufacturing, and nobody in the business speaks the buyer's commercial language.

We work in that gap. Not as a trading house that hides its origins, and not as a directory that lists anyone who pays — as a single accountable party that verifies before it introduces, and stays involved until the container is loaded and the documents are in the buyer's hands.

How we operate

We are a facilitator, not a manufacturer. We do not farm, process or produce anything ourselves, and we do not pretend otherwise. What we bring is proximity to the producers, verification of what they claim, and control of the commercial and documentary process between the two ends of a transaction.

That model has a practical consequence worth being explicit about: we are remunerated by the supply side on completed transactions. Buyers pay no agency fee. Our interest is in transactions that actually complete and repeat, which is the same interest both sides have.

What you can hold us to

• We tell you early when something will not clear. If a required registration is not yet in place, you hear it from us straight away, along with an alternative — a different producer, a different destination, or a later window.
• We quote prices we can stand behind. We would rather lose an enquiry than win it on a number that moves once production starts.
• We keep both sides' commercial position private. Your specifications and volumes, and our suppliers' pricing, stay confidential — an obligation written into our agreements in both directions.
• We are honest about what we cannot source. If a request sits outside what we can genuinely deliver, you get a clear answer quickly rather than a quarter of waiting.

Background

Silver Canopy Global is founder-led, with a dual UK and Pakistani background: UK accounting training and commercial credit control experience, applied to Pakistani export trade. In practice that means the parts of this business that most often go wrong for new exporters — payment security, banking channels, proceeds documentation and the filing trail behind a transaction — are handled by someone trained to handle exactly those things.

We are a registered Pakistani company, recently incorporated, and deliberately narrow. We would rather do a small number of sectors properly, in a region we know personally, than list forty product categories we have never seen produced.
